My Background

When I was young, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded. Painting gives me so much joy and inner peace, but mostly, nothing pleases me more than when one of my paintings brings a smile on another face.

My Medium

My Background

I use many different mediums, such as acrylics, alcohol ink, resin, mixed mediums and watercolours. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

My Inspiration

I grew up in the prairies and now live on the west coast, where I can enjoy the mountains and the ocean every day. I use my surroundings as my inspiration but I also love to do abstract painting, where interpretation is in the eye of the beholder. It's always interesting to see how different people see different things in my pieces.
